THE RIVER - JANUARY 12, 2018
Health; Is There
Many people are looking for bet-
ter health and a deeper, more
meaningful way of life. Interna-
tional speaker Michelle Nanouche says,
“Spirituality isn’t just a lifestyle choice.
It is the basic element of true being.”
Nanouche, a teacher of Christian
Science healing, will present her pub-
lic lecture titled Finding God, Finding
Health at First Church of Christ,
Scientist on Sunday, January 28 at
2:30 p.m. Admission is free. Time will
be allotted following the lecture for
questions and answers.
After the sudden death of her hus-
band, she experienced a crisis of faith.
She had been a practitioner of Christian
Science, helping others find wellness
through turning to God in prayer, for
many years. “I was angry. It wasn’t
that I questioned God’s existence,” she
states. “I had too much proof of God
in the many healings through prayer
I had experienced and witnessed. But
I did question God’s all-goodness and
interest in me.” Nanouche will share
her personal journey to heal her anger
and grief and answer the public’s ques-
tions about Christian Science and how
She will also share details of her
experience of healing a breast growth
in 2001, and what she learned about
God through that process.
Nanouche’s ideas are based on the
teachings of Christ Jesus as recorded in
the Bible, and as discussed in Science
and Health with Key to the Scriptures
by Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and
founder of Christian Science.
Nanouche trained and practiced as
a Christian Science nurse for 10 years
before changing her focus from nursing
care to the prayer practice of Christian
Science. She brings over 35 years of
professional experience to her work
as a practitioner and teacher of this
healing method. Since 1995, she has
lectured on the subject of prayer and
healing throughout the U.S ., Europe
and Africa and was the contact person
for information on Christian Science
to public authorities, the legislature
and the media for several years in New
Nanouche is a member of the
Christian Science Board of Lectureship.
She travels from her home in Paris,
France. She is available to lecture in
French and English.
First Church of Christ, Scientist is
